The Westin Denver Downtown

Employees were very nice, gym was great, pool was heated and very cool, beds were comfy.

Our stay at this Westin property was really nice! The bed was so comfortable and the room was oversized and clean. The gym and pool made it feel like a luxury property. The location was great - just a few blocks from Union Station and all that area has to offer. Few micro-breweries within walking distance. Staff was very friendly and they helped us with an unexpected charge and stored our luggage after check-out.

The location is perfect, we had some quick family in and out activity at the valet. They were super accommodating and very patient with us… The bar on the second floor is pretty amazing for a late night dining and drink quickie if you fly in late… I’ve stayed here several times.

While on our way back home from Spain after guiding trips on the Camino de Santiago, we opted to sleep in Denver to become acclimatized to the altitude before driving up to the mountains. We took the light rail tram from DIA and walked 4 blocks to the hotel. It was perfect for that. The next day, we walked to the Budget Car Rental another 4 blocks from the hotel. The logistics all fell into place. We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant which was surprisingly good.
